CFP stands for “Call for Proposals “, “Call for Papers” or “Call for Presentations” depending on the conference or event. Conferences looking for speakers start with the CFP process. This is an invitation for anyone interested in speaking to submit their idea for a presentation or workshop. CPFs are an outline of what you'd like to talk about and helps organizers choose talks for their events.
Join us in Plano as we celebrate Global Diversity CFP Day with a half-day workshop bringing together aspiring speakers with expert mentors. Craft your speaker bio and your first CFP abstract. Polish them with the help of a mentor and then present them for feedback to the whole group. Finally, learn about opportunities to speak locally, regionally and nationally.
Lunch will be provided by Improving, https://improving.com.
